Kathleen’s commitment to meeting her real estate clients’ every need and her thorough knowledge of the marketplace has given her an impeccable reputation in the real estate industry. In addition, she has been awarded the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation; earned through a combination of professional performance and advanced education. Kathleen also holds her Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation to assist and counsel her senior clients.

Those credentials and Kathleen’s integrity serve both buyers and sellers in the real estate industry. Recently she received her Quality Service Certification (QSC) whereby she provides a Guarantee of Service Performance to all of her clients. An independent research company surveys her clients’ satisfaction and maintains her public record. Her expanding referral based business is a fine testament to the quality of her service.

Kathleen has been a Bay Area resident since 1985, she was licensed as a California Architect in 1988. Following a successful career in architecture, in 2001, Kathleen shifted her focus to the related field of Real Estate.

Enhanced by both the rigors and artistic demands of architecture, Kathleen's connection with her real estate clients and an understanding of their values prompt her to extensively research the market data to meet their goals. Her foundation for success in real estate began during her years as an architect on multi-million dollar projects; creating designs to meet developers pro-formas and through the tough negotiations for those developers.

Her architectural credits include extensive project design of not only custom residences (in Hillsborough, San Mateo, Atherton, and Los Altos Hills), but also as an award-winning architect on a of a broad range of large residential complexes, retirement communities, childcare centers, new school campuses, office buildings and fitness centers throughout California communities.

On a personal level, Kathleen’s interests naturally include art and architecture as well a passion for skiing and scuba diving.

Tempered by the aesthetic and business demands of Landscape Architecture, King Leong’s professional approach with his real estate clients has been developed in over 24 years as a Landscape Architect. As a licensed Landscape Architect in the State of California he is known for his project management skills in overseeing construction documentation and administration on several complex commercial and private projects ranging from residential communities, college campuses, major high-tech company headquarters, sports complexes and mixed-use developments. As a former Director and Principal of Operations for leading landscape architectural design firms in the Bay Area King’s professional achievements illustrate his resolve to successfully navigate and negotiate so that his clients’ may realize their goals and objectives.

As the son of an executive for Parke-Davis pharmaceuticals, prior to settling in the Bay Area nearly 25 years ago King's upbringing was truly international; as a result he is multilingual. Of Chinese descent from the Canton region, King was actually born in the Philippines, he lived in Puerto Rico for several years as well as residing in the Midwestern and Western United States.

With a background as a landscape architect, not surprisingly, King is an outdoor adventurer; as a 15-year ski patrol veteran with the Sugar Bowl Ski Patrol at Tahoe he has had the honor to serve as a Patrol Director and as a Far West Mother Lode Region Director for the National Ski Patrol. He is also an avid scuba diver and enjoys backpacking.
